🔭 Stage Analysis Criteria
Based on Stan Weinstein's 4-Stage methodology, categorizing price
action relative to the 200-day SMA:
• Stg 1 (Basing): Price below MA200, but MA200 is flattening or
turning up.
• Stg 2 (Advancing): Price above MA200, and MA200 is sloping
upward.
• Stg 3 (Topping): Price above MA200, but MA200 is flattening or
turning down.
• Stg 4 (Declining): Price below MA200, and MA200 is sloping
downward.
Universe includes liquid US equities (Price > $5, Vol > 100k).
Exclusions: Penny stocks, illiquid tickers, and highly volatile industries (Biotech,
Junior Mining) are filtered to ensure institutional quality.
